Another excuse for weak @BonnieMcFarlaneMe2 types to keep being atheist. "Remember our high school days??" No, no one remembers that or cares about that. Also, you said you actually liked Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. That's when I knew you were literally retard level of intellect. Actually I knew that instantly but it just confirmed what I already knew, based on life experience. Give me that budget and I will make something 75X more funny no cap

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are supposedly reprising their roles as per Kevin Smith.

No it isn't, and no they're not.

You keep tabs on me in a weird way but I’m not an atheist. Why don’t you ask your geriatric boyfriend to give you money for a movie? It’s not like you need a college fund for the child you’ll never have. Also can I lick your feet like a puppy?

Damn, my bad. Thread over. Kind of a douchey thing for him to say that then walk it back. I’ve never seen the first one but I figured this would start a conversation. Also that Cracked article is douchey as fuck:

Well the first one is decent. I liked KS alot when I was 15ish, especially after watching "Evening With..." while I was supposed to be grounded from TV :brothaman_sm: . Although, whereas I'll defend Monty Python that I liked a lot earlier on than that, I'm not gonna try to defend Kevin Smith stuff. I watched Dogma maybe 5 years ago and it was alright..if you haven't seen it I guess you may as well check it out. Chasing Amy and Clerks 1 are kinda cringy now. Clerks 2 I haven't watched in forever but I'd bet that it holds up the best, theres still shit I laugh about when I'm reminded of from that one. J and Silent Bob Strike Back and Mallrats are probably okay for a drunken afternoon. Clerks 3 was an abomination.

I like Clerks 2 way more than 1 but I saw both quite a while after they came out. 3 was pretty bad but I didn’t hate it. Strike Back is funny but I haven’t seen it since I was a teenager.

I've always felt Strike Back is his best movie. He should have kept doing those Jay And Silent Bob flicks until he ran it into the ground and then some. J&SB in Vegas, London, Africa, Cuba, and on and on. Everything he's done since Strike Back has been shit. Clerks 2 had some humorous moments, but 3 was just terrible. The rest of them ranged from instantly forgettable to unbelievably atrocious. J&SB Reboot was possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. It was like the whole joke was how little he tried.

I had no expectation for 3 so I kind of enjoyed it. I didn’t even know he rebooted J&SB haha. How long ago was that?

Few years ago, before his big fat heart gave out on him and he quit smoking weed. It was the last "film" of his "too high to know what the fuck he was doing" phase. He did a whole tour where they screened the movie and he followed it with one of his Q&As. His stupid daughter was in it. Christ, what a piece of shit that thing was. It looked like he filmed it with his phone. At least Strike Back and Clerks 2 looked like real movies, filmed with real cameras and microphones and etc.

Is it like a stand up or one man show type deal? I’ll check it out.

He used to do these college appearances that were QnA events where the whole time he's just answering questions from the audience. Eventually he filmed a few and edited the best stuff together. He was really funny organically answering peoples questions and telling stories about shit. Then he made two more where he was coming out doing stand up like sets before the questions but then you could tell all the questions he was trying to shoehorn in bits he'd already prepared. So just watch that first one. Stories about Prince and Wild Wild West and a few others are worth it alone.
