Do you look down on people that live at home with their parents… I do.

I used to post on music and video game forums. And it’s amazing that all the galaxy minds and smartest people on the planet are in their late 20s to, in some cases , fucking 50s still living at home.

I don’t buy the “disability” bullshit either.

My dad kicked me out of the house when I was 20, and with the exception of 3 to 4 weeks before I went to basic training I havnt lived with my parents in almost 20 years.

After moving out and living alone for years I moved back in w my mom after my dad died when i was like 25/26 and it fucking ruled. My mom did all the mundane bullshit like laundry, cleaning, cooking dinner, etc. I had it made. I could tell people looked down at me for living with my mom but honestly it was worth it, for me and for her. My moms cool as hell anyways so it wasnt bad at all. Now that i own my own property and im ‘house broke’, i really look back on those times pretty fondly. It was like being a kid again. Living with mom is the perfect way to never grow up and be an actual adult.

That's a tough one, Nigger Jim.

Being on your own young means you're spending most of your income to duplicate housing and transportation resources. You spend your prime years working excessively to survive. Kikery.

The ones at home suffer from a sense of urgency and don't develop the drive needed for success. While their lives are less stressful, they achieve less, and strain their elderly parents. A failure to launch, as it were. Also Kikery.

Maybe the Amish are onto something, ainna?

There's a happy middle ground here though.

There’s a housing shortage going on over here. There’s too few affordable houses for young starters. So a big percentage of young people has no choice but to stay at home with their parents.

I don’t know what the housing situation is like in America so i won’t comment on that, i’m just talking about the situation over here. But i assume if most of those young people had the option to move out over here they would do it.

Its fucked unless you want to live in the middle of nowhere in Ohio or some shit. In my area to rent a 2BR 1Bath is still like $1800/$2000 a month. Minimum wage is still like $8 an hour. Most likely if youre 17/18/19yo thats what youre making unless you go jnto a specific trade or physcial manual labor, in which case youll make like $12/13. The cost of housing and the hourly wage are just so far apart, its verrrry difficult for young people to get ahead if they dont come from money.

As long as they are working and not laying around all day like Betsy Resto I don’t mind. Her furniture “business” doesn’t even have hours listed because she’s too lazy to go and open the doors. She is the type that sees her parents just as her roommates and not in any rush to save up to buy a place because they will allow her to lay around.

free room, home cooked dinner served every night, they're old and deaf and cant hear me fucking the random whores I bring home. It doesn't really bother me if other people think I should be spending +400 a month to stay in some shithole apartment and do the same thing I do now. Don't care, my life is awesome and my savings account is fat.

I think it depends on your age. 23-24 seems like an odd one because you should be ambitious and independent, or at least living in Asia for the easy strange for a year or two.

With my old dear's age and health I'd feel like a bit of a Tomlinson if I lived too far away though. Even if I had millions I don't think I'd move far away until she's brown bread.

I moved back in with my parents when I was like 22 for a few months. I can still remember bringing home one of the waitresses from the Chilis i was working at and fucking her silly while my parents were asleep. I tried to sneak her out early the next day but my mom was already downstairs making coffee at like 6 in the morning. I’ll never forget the knowing/disapproving look she gave me as I awkwardly introduced this skank she clearly knew I had spent the previous night dumping cum into. One of the most cringe inducing moments of my life. It probably didn’t help things that I woke my dad to ask to borrow a condom at 2 in the morning.

Being an adult is about state of mind rather than location. I thought that up while waiting for my chicken tendies.

There's a brief window of time where you should be living with a few other guys in a shitty rundown place. Some random guy who sleeps on the couch. Women filtering in and out of the place. It's great and then one day it all goes to shit. Any guy who doesn't go through that is missing out on the quintessential white guy experience.

I was the couch sleeper for about 3 months when I lived in a flophouse with a few others in my early 20s.

Some of the best memories to be honest.

Had a good relationship with both my parents, but left when I was 18 and never looked back. Preferred the freedom of sharing a house at 20 with 4 other scumbags than all the creature comforts of living at home. Won't judge anyone else because to each their own etc, but living with the folks past a certain age wasn't for me.

Just pull a Fonzi and live above the garage or something. Then you can bang whoever you want.
