Did Walt have to kill Gale? Did Walt need to kill Gus?

Mike says Walt ruined a good thing

but did he ruin it for himself and jesse?

wouldnt gus have killed jesse and or walt eventually?

did mike not realize it and walt did?
Yeah, Mike's speech didn't make sense. What transpired had nothing to do with Walt's pride and ego. It all started from bailing Jesse's dumb ass out of trouble. First Walt killed Gus's men to save Jesse, then Walt got Jesse a job at the lab because he was threatening to blab. Basically, Mike was saying that Walt should've let Jesse be killed, even though Mike had grown to like him and thought he was a good kid.

Also, "NOOOOOO WALTUH U CAN'T JUST KILL A DRUG LORD WHO THREATENED TO MURDER YOU AND UR FAMILY. "

I don't think Vince thought it through at this point and was trying to push "muh Heisenberg".

I really enjoyed BB, right up until the Nazis killed Hank and Gomez. It wasn't perfect by any means, but it was a pretty fine show up to that moment. But everything that happened right after that was balls-out retarded. First, the Nazis, who just gunned down two DEA agents AND found $44 million in cash, just decide to give Walter a quarter of it and let him go, in spite of the fact that he's an eyewitness. And the lead Nazi does this because his dimwitted nephew likes Walt. Then, on top of that, the Nazis decide to let Jesse, another witness, live too, so they keep him in a cage so he can teach Todd how to make better meth. They don't need to make meth anymore, but they decide to do this so Todd can impress a woman he likes. Then, to "keep Jesse in line", they go to his girlfriend's house, in a quiet suburban neighborhood, and murder her at her front door. If Jesse somehow escapes, he can pin three homicides on them, but this doesn't seem to concern them at all.

Then it gets even dumber. Walt risks everything in order to see his old girlfriend and make her give his kids a giant pile of cash, and he does this by telling her he has snipers following her every move. Then he concocts a plan to kill the Nazis and free Jesse, and the entire plan hinges on all the Nazis being together in their Nazi clubhouse at exactly the right moment. The whole thing was a huge cop out created specifically to make Walter the hero, which the character never merited.

I actually believe the plan was for Walt to kill the Nazis, Jesse and himself in a blaze of glory. At that point, he thought Jesse was working with them, it wasn't until he saw the state of him that he realised what was happening and saved Jesse from the gunfire.

This is why they were 'nazis'...because who is more hateable at that point that Walt? Nazis, that's who.

Vince said he wanted fans to feel 'satisfied' by the ending. So yeah, he made it so Walt just happened to park his car in the exact location it needed to be in, and in classic Vince fashion he's about to do the thing and then the keys get away from him.

They really shouldn't have made another season past Season 4. If it ended at Season 4, it would have been fine. The last season ruins it for me.

My ending: after trying and failing to give his wife the money, Walt contacts the vacuum store guy and goes into hiding with his barrels of money. Then he happens across a news story about Jesse surrendering to authorities and taking full credit for being Heisenberg. An enraged Walt wants to somehow find and kill Jesse, but the cancer is too advanced, and he dies. The Robert Forster character finds him, takes his money, and sets his cabin hideout on fire. The end. No Nazis, no redemption, just darkness.

That does go along with the title of that one episode, Ozymandias. It would have actually been perfect.

My ending also gives Jesse a way more plausible end. He's all wracked with guilt, so surrendering would be totally in character. And taking Heisenberg away from Walter would be his ultimate "fuck you" move, too. Walt sitting there coughing up blood and seething over Jesse being hailed as a criminal mastermind is a way more believable ending.

That doesn't make sense. Walt knows that the Nazis know that Jesse is a DEA informant. A rat. They would never leave him alive as an ally to go freely. When Walt hears that the blue meth is still in circulation and being manufactured he immediately realizes that the Nazis tortured the formula out of Jesse and that Todd is likely supervising Jesse's cooks. Walt knew that the blue meth was being done by Jesse or Todd and likely no one else. The only question for Walt about Jesse at that point was whether or not the Nazis had already killed him.

Walt was going there to kill everyone including Jesse. Because he still hated Jesse and blamed him for Hank's death and his money being gone. Once he saw just how bad the treatment was of Jesse he let him live out of mercy. In the most retarded plot convenient way of course. Where Jesse and Todd magically duck the machine gun. So that Jesse can have his "cool" moment for Breaking Bad fags to autistically rage over.

But the Nazis leaving Jesse and Walt alive is some of the worst writing on any one hour drama. And Walt leaving Jesse alive as well makes little sense. If Jesse gets arrested it would enough scrutiny on Walt's family likely forever meaning they never get their money.
The anthrax mail that killed all the Aryans in Oz was a more realistic mass Nazi killing.
The original ending of Oz was that a giant flood was hitting the local town and all of the prisoners were summoned by the National Guard to build barriers and search homes for anyone stranded or injured. The producers of Oz wanted like Day After Tomorrow level flooding and HBO asked them if they were joking and said to change the ending to something more grounded.

So the show ended in a better way with the prison temporarily closing and everyone moving to new units. Showing that these prisoners were not prisoners of just Oz but entire judicial system. And even if the left Oz they would just be transferred to another version of Oz. Their lives are just one cell to the next cell. Lifers.

It was just terrible. Remember, the reason why Uncle Jack allowed Todd to keep Jesse alive as a meth slave was to impress Lydia, yet another loose end they didn't need to deal with anymore. Jack allowed Todd to keep a potentially dangerous witness alive AND to keep letting him sell meth to Lydia, thereby putting himself at even more risk, all because he thought Todd's crush on Lydia was cute. A murderous meth Nazi with a heart of gold.

my ending: Walt smokes some meth, and is like “holy shit, this is what i’ve been missing out on”

he proccedes to become gay with jesse, shooting up meth and fuck him in his twink ass

eventually walt contracts aids and starts putting it in his meth

the ghost of gus is seen jacking off in a walter white hallucination after hes been up for 4 days straight looking on grinder for new twinks to poz

eventually skylar discovers walts vibrating egg

walt asks her if she thinks she knows who she is talking to, he is the one who docks cocks!

during the divorce proccedings discovery exposes walts meth empire

but hes to focused on twink hole to care much

he tells mike to kill that bitch and his retard son while hes there

walt sobers up and realizes he actually wants to fuck his cripple son first

but by the time he gets to the house he sees mike is already balls deep in the crutches kid

walt screams “this isn’t your show” and furiously beats off in impotent rage

breaking bad logo flashes across the screen

IIRC, Walt tackled Jesse as Walt pushed the button that started the machine gun.
Yes in the most convenient way. It is like those retarded scenes in every prison movie where the two prisoners argue with each other. Then the guards enter the cell to break up the fight. And magically the prisoners team up and beat the guards and escape. Same stupidity.

Walt's plan relies on these magic coincidences:

- The Nazis not just tracking him down and murdering him immediately once they know he has returned
- Lydia hiring someone to kill Walt before he can do something stupid and get her killed or arrested
- The Nazis allowing Walt to park his car exactly at the right angle to their compound, knowing that Walt used bombs and car bombs before
- All of the Nazi gang being present in the compound at the exact same time in the exact same building (they retcon this to make more Nazis for Jesse to kill in El Camino)
- Not one of the Nazis searching Walt's car for weapons or a bomb knowing how dangerous he is
- Not one of the Nazis confiscating his keys and holding them until he was ready to leave
- All of the Nazis standing up at the same time and being too stupid to dive to the floor once the shooting starts

Also in order to set up the final fan service garbage of Jesse killing Todd you need these coincidences:

- Jesse being let out of his prison to be there for the big shootout
- Walt being able to freely move Jesse to the floor without the Nazis interfering nor realizing they are staging a fight
- Todd also being on the ground during the shooting yet NONE of the other Nazis making it to the floor, just Todd
- Todd turning his back on both Jesse and Walt after the shooting and not defending himself
- No other Nazis surviving to help fight Jesse or Walt leaving Todd alone

Walt should have been to one to kill Hank. That's what I thought the show was building towards at the time. Having the nazi's do it is a giant cop out so the audience won't end up hating Walt. Vince Gilligan loves his characters a little too much. Pretty much every main character's story ends on a good note.
