Why is this game so good? I hate modern video games but this one truly fascinates me. It's so fucking difficult, like it's not like you're playing a video game. It's what it'd be like if you were put into that world... you'd be fucked.

I got past the first or second boss and then was completely fucked getting past more monsters, they were too strong for me.

It's like playing in a literal nightmare.

For me, all those games fucking rule. The souls games. Nioh and blood borne. Pretty much anything derived from that formula is great. Because if you die you totally earned it. There’s a way to actually not get hit once and make it really far. Each death teaches you how to get closer to that goal. The satisfaction of getting better is unmatched as well.

When you start off getting killed every 2 minutes then gradually get better, just like each death, you earned the improvement. To your point about the nightmare it helps that it’s such a fucked up environment.

Personally I’m dogshit at it but not so bad at nioh or blood borne but dark souls is my favorite out of those games.

The best part about the fucked up environment is how the deeper you go into the world you think oh fuck... How will I get back? It's like you're going deep into points past of no return... Could potentially be stuck there forever. Hard to explain but yeah creepy feeling.

Nah that’s exactly it. That’s how I wish I could’ve explained it. Especially the part of points of no return. It’s probably the only games that give me an adrenaline rush. Getting really far doing really then dying makes me scream nigger like no one’s business.

I need a ducking switch for Zelda. All the ps5s I flipped for cash. I regret it now after watching RE4 gameplay. I played about 20 mins of the Harry Potter game at my friends house that didn’t seem like complete trash.

I still have to go back to Sekiro and Elden Ring to finish them. But I'm hesitant because they might be too difficult for me.

Nah, Elden Ring is really not that hard especially if you cheese a few parts. Just don't pirate the 1.0 version with the insanely hard Radhan fight and you should be good. I need to play Sekiro.

Final Sekiro boss took me probably 7 hours over a couple days of trying. I lost count how long it took me to beat Malenia. My great sword build clearly wasn't made for her that's for sure.

Malenia is definitely the hardest part of Elden Ring, even getting to her is a massive fucking headache (no worries cuntfucker it's not a required boss fight). I could not for the life of me figure out the dodge combo for her big flurry move.

I got by on brute force and luck. I'm planning on playing it again when they announce the DLC launch date. I loved the area to get to Malenia. It felt like "oh you thought the last zone was bad? Tee heee!"
