I knew his days on that show were numbered after that episode. He's one of the least confrontational comedians out there but Jay and Christine suck so fucking much that even Soder grew a set of balls and told them to shut the fuck up for once. As someone who listened to The Bonfire regularly for years, it was a cathartic episode. I like Bobby so i listened twice since Dan left but its awful. Jay's schtick is unlistenable without Soder's contribution.

There's a Bonfire episode when they had Jessica Kirson on and they played the tape of a British fella, Mo Deen, who called Kirson a "disgusting hawk". At least, that's what they went with but I can't find that episode anywhere and the last I remember, it was pretty funny.

It always bugged the shit out of me that they said disgusting hawk. The guy 100% called her a disgusting hog.
I tried watching an episode of that and it was like a fucking fever dream. What the hell happened to her anyways? There was like a year where she was constantly hailed as some respected master of comedy despite nobody ever hearing of her before that year. She's good on podcasts in that she's not a buzzkill hole but I don't think I've ever laughed at anything she's said. She seems like she could be your friend's cool mom or something, she's about that funny.
Yeah, I wasn't impressed with her podcast. She appears to portray different characters and none are funny. She has her moments where she's funny, but that ain't it.

I would try to get into Bonfire shit and there'd be like 2 minutes of something funny before Soder needed to break into a silly voice or awful impression. Shit was horrendous.

On the show where where they announced he was leaving, Jay talked about how over the years when he would bring up how cool everything they've accomplished and built up with the show was, Dan would immediately say that it was great because then Jay would have something after he left.
They also said that they'd known he was leaving for a year and that would fit around the time when he snapped at them.
What's sad is he and Jay are hilarious together, no way he is going to be able to top Bonfire in terms of funniness.

I don't think that Dan Soder is funny but he seems to be a good guy. Bonfire could've been great if Jay was just a little bit self-aware. Always talking about porn and sex, allowing his dumb cunt wife being part of the show etc. It is one of the reasons why I don't listen to LOS anymore. I don't understand why those podcastfags can't shut up for 1 second while another person is talking.

Interrupting on podcasts drives me insane. It’s why I was never a huge Nick Mullen fan because he does it an obnoxious amount. Even though Dave isn’t that funny on LOS I always feel bad that he can’t get two words out without being screamed over by the other two. The chemistree is gone, they don’t even listen to each other speak anymore.
