What a waste of money.
He's had a few heart attacks over the years right? I'd imagine even in the throes of obscurity, he kept it up to date for just such an occasion.
I know zero about US health insurance. Does the bill go up if you are at risk of family illness like heart attacks or have had some already or stuff like a mother who was dead to her sons due to dementia for years? Like a driver who has had too many crashes he's got to be a high risk to insure now.

Good healthcare. I’m an invalid practically and my average healthcare covers Stelara for psoriasis which comes from a specialty pharmacy and runs like nine grand every three months but I have no lesions or arthritis as long as I’m on it.

Its not that the bill goes up but your premiums go up because you’re an at risk individual, just like how your car insurance raises based on your age which is a liability etc.
I also want to understand the logic of how “insurance paid for my heart attack” is parlayed into “immigrants wouldn’t have to pay”, and how the taxpayers would. If you didn’t have insurance you’d be fucked with that bill and it’d go delinquent, and shocking, but it’s not just illegals without insurance. I don’t get his point.

Cumia pays out the ass for platinum level insurance coverage. Another money sink when he could have very easily started an HSA twenty years ago and would have millions at his disposal for a situation like this without owning five figure per year premiums.
