I think military officers and a lot of higher ups are just insane. They climbed the ladder following orders like robots so they think the little nothings who want to refuse deserve to be kicked out and stripped of benefits for insubordination or some other nutty bullshit.

In order to reach the upper ranks of being a military officer, you have to “play the game” to such an extreme theres no way you get there without having utter disregard for anything except making the next rank. They are completely soulless lizards
