Do comics think if they aren't podcasting they don't exist or something?

What is the point of Mark Normand doing that nobody's show? His terrible podcasts already pull in at least 10x as many viewers and he can get just as promotional engagement with a tweet as he could an hour conversation with Chrissie. It's not even like she has a demographic worth tapping into unless Mark feels he's lacking in the Fred from Brooklyn types.

By almost any metric, Mark Normand is one of the top comedians in the tier just below "star" and he still does shows at Joe Matarese's pop-up club and Chrissie Mayr's livestream. What a miserable fucking life.

I think it’s more about her getting a bump by having him on. He’s doing her the favor. His shows are selling out but it never hurts to zoom in and maybe pick up a few more fans.
