You're looking at things with 20/20 hindsight. At the time, a lot of the trolls were 13 year old kids on 4chan who couldn't believe Chris-Chan was actually being real and not yet another person on 4chan in that era doing an elaborate bit for attention.

Bluespike was like 12 years old when he told him to either smash his ps3, or smash his medallion and shove the pieces up his ass. He didn't expect him to do either, and he definitely didn't expect him to do the latter.

Those dumb "youtube documentaries" on Chris-chan explain things in complete chronological order of Chris's life, but a lot of that stuff was found out way later, things started in the middle.

Lotta people in the 2010s or more recently who were actively trying to manipulate Chris, like that disgusting girl that was the impetus for the whole momfucking saga getting out.

Kiwifarms' hard line on trolling makes a lot more sense when you consider that these were the kind of people that place had to deal with in it's infancy. Tricking Bobo or Pat into humiliating themselves looks like harmless tomfoolery compared to people who try to scam money out of an autistic or convince him to harm himself. Pretty sure there've been people who tried to break into his house now that it's temporarily vacant.
