Honestly I respect him for starting his own network, he just did it in the most terrible way possible. He had a huge following when he first started CM. He could have easily maintained it and grown it had he not made one stupid decision, that being to paywall every single second of content.

Like @LingerLonger said, he could've made it work if the whole project wasn't a complete shambles from the get go. The main problem is that AntH is the epitome of a nigger. He has no aptitude for nor interest in managing anything, he prefers to indulge his delusions and hedonistic instincts.

2. his former butt-of-every-joke underling, who had a stagnant career during the 12+ years he worked at satellite before they finally and unceremoniously fired him

Without knowing too much, I bet Garret is reasonably competent. If he took some SXM people with him when he got fired to actually run the equipment and social media, there was a good shot.

Compound media's problem from the start was doing *everything* behind a paywall with a buggy system and maintaining a buggy system while bringing on new shows. He should've had enough saved up to work for free the first year or so, build an audience, then attach premiums. Instead it was subs and subs alone from day 1.

Then you had Anthony's work ethic. When do you see him on other peoples' shows of his own network? At WNEW, he would drop in on Ron and Fez or even the fucking Radio Chick. Part of the appeal of WNEW or even the XM days was that it was effectively a continuous show from 6 AM to Noon. Now he's barely on his own show, let alone randomly bringing his name (or, at minimum, managerial supervision) to the weaker shows.

TL;DR Keith's a shitty businessman and abysmal with technology. Anthony has zero passion or work ethic.

Nana sounded so much smarter and was so much more likeable when he was paid millions of dollars to crack a joke once in a while (that he'd often steal from paltalk) and you didn't see his ugly, nervous face and twitching twitter thumb. After the firing, Nana should have immediately left New York and done a basic audio podcast for his hardcore fans, which would have paid his bills, but not much more. This whole studio thing was a cope because Nana quickly realized that he couldn't pull off a monologue show so he wanted to be closer to the poor comics in the city who didn't like coming to Long Island. You can't really blame him either. OnA's success gave Nana a distorted image of his worth. He had to go through the failure of CP media to get the memo. Opie is legitimately stupid, but he was smart enough to sit on his money after he got fired and not let himself get pumped up with delusions of grandeur by the Keith the Cops of the world.

Anthony was losing his ability to be funny on O&A. All the race rants and shit he used to talk about black people and Obama was getting tiresome. His only task on O&A was to be funny and he stopped doing that and focused on his "political" views instead.

It was just totally fascinating and totally hilarious. Just room after room he obviously never used for anything, weird asymmetrical flourishes and details that were either borne of total idiocy and/or shitty workmanship, his hysterical backyard, it was the absolute embodiment of "nigger rich".

Why doesn't he invite someone who has done actual research on the matter regarding crime statistics on his show so he can a debate and figure the issue out in it's entirely? Because the whole crime statistics angle is just a reason so he can be a bigot asshole.

Well, after he became a felon and wasn't able to own guns anymore you don't here him speak about the second amendment anymore. Why is that?
