I will say I love how Marvel went and found debatably the best actress they've had to date (maybe 2 behind Cumberbatch) and proceeded to hand her absolutely fucking nothing to work with. Christian Bales Thor character was apparently complete dogshit, too.

And you know most of the budgets for those fucking movies are pissed away on star power, and then they do that with it.

yeah there isn't much when you are dealing with capeshit. There are some exceptions like nolan who can make it work but those are very very rare.

I remember when i was in high school i actually sat down one afternoon and watched Short term 12, that's how got to know brie larson. I used to be a big time movie guy watching these indie movies no one has ever heard of. It was a bit dramatic and gay at times but not a bad movie at all.
