If you are going on vacation somewhere lay the groundwork first. Are you going to city Asia or jungle Asia? Prostitutes or picking up a local? It's fairly hard to break into a social situation as most Asians go out with their family to bars and you can't hit on someone with their mother watching. Create a dating profile and set something up online before you head out there. Say you just want someone to show you around who knows the area. If you know just one person (could even be a guy) they will be able to set you up with any singleton in their social circle. One of my most successful lines from my younger days was that I'm interested in trying the food but don't want to eat alone. Would you mind joining me for dinner a few nights and talking me through the menus etc.

Taiwan I only spent a night there but Hong Kong is great. If you want to make the most of it ride out to Macau which is where the better night life is (bit dangerous too) and often gets overlooked even though its so close by. If you date a Chinese woman be prepared for how aggressive they are towards you. Those fuckers will try scratch your eyes out if you put a foot wrong. I can't stress how much better Singapore is than anywhere else on earth though. If you're planning to go one place go there.
