Oh how I would love to shit on modern kids for this one because they are objectively retarded, but companies simply don't produce enough manuals any more for mass exposure. Even the family hand-me-downs would be from like 2009 and those are mostly automatic.

It's a bummer dude, my first job was at a car wash in the 00s so I got lots of exposure. I even remember driving one of those early minivans with a stick.

I drove by my old highschool the other day and felt super old because the cars that were new when I graduated were now the cars of HS students. Fuck me getting old sucks

You can't even get sports cars with a stick shifter anymore. They are phased out everywhere. Of course now half of the sports car brands are for raging faggots like electric Mustangs or whatever.

I genuinely think it can be blamed on influencers. These herbs got millions for some reason
These lazy faggots got millions and demanded F cars and Lambos but wanted an automatic because they're lazy.

Canada checking in. In theory I think I'd know how to drive manual but never had an opportunity.

My brother insists on buying weird Italian cars and drives manual. I'm just like "why? There's such an easier way to do this." Enjoy replacing your hip motor parts.

They're harder to find now. Even Honda has stopped putting them in cars.

I remember when I was selling cars and took in a very old cargo van that had its shifting in the steering column and it really felt odd.
I actually learned to drive in a Honda or Toyota. And just went "I have some really rough mornings, I could kill a lot of people with this" and decided to cancel my driving test.

a lot don't because...go on a lot and try to buy a manual 2024 vehicle right now. What is even left? A few Jeep models?

Americans who do drive manual, however, usually make it way too big a part of their identity. Dude, every grandma in Europe drives manual and all of our grandmothers did. It's really not that bad ass.

That being said I own two manuals 😎
