I never understood why Americans love a roast format so much. It's so stilted and contrived and then most the time a guy will say "I'm just joking we love you" at the end. Disgusting.

Oops. Totally misread that at first. I didn’t even try watching that one. I tapped out on Will Ferrell quite awhile back. Probably with the second Anchorman. I’d imagine most of the older “classic” stuff hasn’t aged well.
