Looks like a POS, should've just went with an SM7B for a couple more bucks or SM58 if you're in the 100 dollar range.
sm7b is a 400 usd mic, and severely overrated to me, if you want that sound, that's fine but not my preference.

Also to note, both these mics sm7b and sm58 are singing/broadcasting mics, I was looking something for recording acoustic guitar.

Also, your preamp, compressor, limiters, eq (channel strip in general) will make that SM7B sound like it's supposed to. If you're going from it into some cheap 100 dollar preamp straight into a DAW, you're going to sound like shit regardless.
seeing every podcaster nowadays rocking that sm7b without the right equipment is an injustice, they just buy a rodecaster, a cloudlifter and start streaming on OBS.

You've recorded acoustic guitar with a SM58? :image_9247_m:
lol that's what i was thinking.

To be devil's advocate though, you could actually record it, sm58 is very similar to sm57 which is industry standard for recording guitars, it won't sound good probably.

Will get the job done though if you have nothing else to work with.
