Sweetwater has a great recommendation list on their website, do read it brotherman.

I wish i had read it before, trust me there are some good mics on this list and are pretty affordable too.

Yes funster, I am a XLR, 48V phantom power chad, not a usb cel like dan mullen.

Using Arturia minifuse 2, arturia is one of my favorite audio companies.

Looks like a POS, should've just went with an SM7B for a couple more bucks or SM58 if you're in the 100 dollar range.
