Bobby Kelly sucks and is ruining The Bonfire.

I just had it on I the background but I think he was as creepy as you'd figure he'd be. He did ask her about the giant shit she took on camera and all about her porn. She was fine with it because she's used to being around porn business cretins. They never flat out called her delusional for filming a special on her very first attempt at stand up comedy. She does one of the guest intros coming back from the breaks and calls herself "comedian Farrah Abraham". She's fucking nuts and broken. When she left Bobby was like "she tried to talk about her kid a couple times and we kept cutting her off to talk about her shitting on camera."

I’m a few weeks behind, I forgot about the giant shit thing haha. It’s not “much catch” radio for me but I find the show enjoyable enough. Her being broken tracks for sure. If I remember correctly her “leaked porno” was way over the top and involved a sex swing. So what, she just went up without any memorized material to release a special? I don’t know how that even works from a logistical standpoint. Was she reading notes and stammering through stuff or did she perfectly have a routine rehearsed without going on a stage? I can’t believe her comedy special didn’t come onto my radar before your comment.

A while back Bobby was telling another of his made up stories and at one point he mentioned a bed but later he referred to it as a couch and Jay called him on it, Jay clearly knows Bobby's just lying.

He lies more than anyone I've heard. If someone's ever like "that's not how it happened" he'll be like "Yeah. It's a comedy show. You're supposed to go along with it because that's how comedy works." Like, just lying in a sultry, breathy voice about getting pussy with no sort of funny added is not comedy.

For a while Jay was calling him out on everything and I think he was trying to break Bobby of the lying shit and get him to see how embarrassing it is but Bobby kept on doing it and now Jay just lets out a big sigh right on the mic when Bobby starts telling some long, clearly bullshit story or just grinds everything to a halt by pretending to not understand some normal thing or stopping everything to acknowledge that someone said a word slightly wrong by accident.

It's actually kind of amazing how hated Bobby is now and it's all because he sucks on The Bonfire. Every youtube comment is about how they can't stand Bobby or they want Dan back. I looked at the bonfire subreddit for shits and giggles and it's, no joke, like 80% posts about hating Bobby and his faggot son. Jay knows it too because he did that AMA recently and there were plenty of "Why the fuck do you allow Bobby to ruin the show?" questions. He even read one, acknowledged it, but didn't answer it.

Bobby still does make me laugh occasionally but overall he's a fucking absolute dud lump of shit on the radio and I wish they'd replace him with basically anybody at this point.

I always thought he was the most logical cohost they were trying out because him and Jay are about the same age. I don’t understand why anyone is crying that they want Dan back when the show had been horrible for at least two years before he left. Shows have a shelf life and it’s not acknowledged enough.

Sam can simultaneously giggle away at the obvious fabrications while playing along and setting up for a longer riff--he's had plenty of practise from years corralling everyone in the O&Asphere. They're both similar enough and enamoured enough of each other to make any lies & falsities seem bearable or not too glaring. Plus, Bobby takes any criticism or mockery from Sam better than he takes it from most other people, because he adores Sam and wants to make him laugh. CHEMushtree.

I was actually listening to some of those recently. I stumbled across a list of the funniest ones from that era, probably about 20 episodes or so. The second I strayed from those it was complete garbage. The one random episode I picked was mostly Joe List complaining about guns and calling for them all to be banned, no jokes at all. YKWD was never consistently good but Bobby was definitely a lot funnier back then.
