Piggy is 42 with zero investments or any plan for retirement. He’s just oinking that Tesla stock is down like stocks never go down. Same type of idiots were the ones who said the record stock market numbers during Trump “didn’t matter” because not everyone owns stock and owning stock is racist. These idiots can never keep their story straight, also Ford is a shit stock, better investing in energy.

He read half a Motley Fool article because the other half was behind a paywall and he's Pigsplaining numbers he doesn't understand.
I find this hard to believe, surely you're not suggesting that tech guru Patrick S. Tomlinson wouldn't know how to circumvent a clickbait site's paywall?

He’s trying so hard to discredit and bury Elon Musk. Musk, who has done more for the green movement and space exploration than any of the do nothing politicians Patrick supports.

Elon made an electric car that was cool and practical and exponentially increased adoption. The only things the Dems have done is shut down pipelines and put in burdensome regulations at every level of government to kill the operating environment for energy companies and now we’re paying $5 per at the pump.

NASA wouldn’t have even assembled a flight crew by the time Musk launched his shuttle.

He hates him because he wants (and can) buy Twitter and is a centrist? Boo hoo, go let garbage sit on your property for years you dirty swine.

They talk about legacy costs that drag down "legacy" companies, but they never mention that many of these well established companies spend money trying to quash new innovations, rather than incubating them an growing them, themselves. The only reason Ford is going into EVs is Tesla, they had a chance 20 years ago to read the market before there was a Tesla. Same with Telcos, they could have had FTTH in the early 90s, to carry TV and be positioned for the coming internet, but they were too busy feeding on their overpriced 1.5s , ISDN, and taking profit to recognize the need to be first, not just biggest. They were bemoaning the loss of access lines as two new technologies they could have monopolized sprung up and siphoned off customers (internet and cell phones). They had the tech in place to build out much earlier, but they preferred taking profits rather than spending capital. Now new companies that were innovative beat them to even newer ideas. Verizon even bought a dead AOL and Yahoo. The worst part is they let their own assets fight it out between wireline and wireless, when they could have complimented one another.

Edit: New Boomia copy pasta to use lol.

Reminder: Patrick is a 42 year old man who has $0 saved for retirement.

Patrick basically has a Boomer mentality about finances/life. always hoping for that big success/windfall that will support them in the future and just blithely shitting their way through life like a clueless boob. If they get that windfall, then it'll be because they "Earned it" and that justifies all this shitty life decisions. If not, they cry that government Owes it to them to support them in their old age, regardless of how that will fuck over all the taxpayers.

That isn't a boomer thing as much as a white trash thing. I'm not actually boomer and I always looked to outpace debt service on every investment. I had a lot of real estate debt in 2019 that was funding equities I purchased after 2016, I cashed out in fear of the 2020 election. I entered again after it only with my profits and am now out again waiting on 2022 election results to make my next moves. They were giving money away at 2.5-3.5% for like 6-7 years. Also same thing post 2008 crash ,debt service on money was cheaper than growth rates. There's a thousand ways to make 50k off of 100k equity line in a few years at only like 12-18k in debt service every 3 years, multiply that by a few 100k more and you can get ahead. Or go to Costa Rica on credit cards with 20% debt service lol.
