This is a great idea, if you call make sure to mention you’ve been there and inquire about their “no soliciting” policy since Pat has proudly claimed to solicit bar customers in hopes of selling his books cash. This could be something to report since it’s a bar/restaurant and him trying to sell you a physical book while at a bar that doesn’t sell books could be in violation of some rules. To an unsuspecting patron this man has targeted this establishment to not only sell but pressure people to buy his books out of fear since he seems “a bit off”

Sales people can meet new clients at a bar / restaurant but you’re not selling them your product right there. Pat however bugs patrons to buy his books that he has in his mustang trunk. That’s goes over the line since nobody goes to a bar to be solicited by a guy trying to sell you a book. It’s like if a guy came into a bar trying to sell you their album while not performing at the bar. If Pat had some event there reading a chapter that would be one thing but some fat loser couple seats over coming up trying to sell you a book you didn’t ask for is very different.
