Best Mob Movie?

TorpidSloth

Goodfellas is the most rewatchable, but Casino is great too. Donnie Brasco is underrated, even though having large Nordic Michael Madsen as a wop is a bit jarring. GF 1 and 2 are obviously masterpieces, but they do both kind of glamourise the mob to a degree, or at least mythologize them. The others I mentioned show them as the petty, rat-like, unpredictable scumbags they are.

IGotATreeOnMyHouse85

Stand Alone Fruit
A Bronxsh Tale. Louie Beans!!
Another great one and when DeNiro was still good. I got to see Chaz speak at an event about getting it made years ago which was cool since they were just gonna but it from him but he held out so it could get made the way he wanted it, kinda like how Stallone held out on Rocky being bought so they could put someone else in the role

that painting looks like our friend! We hit a deer
State of Grace and Wise Guys (Joe Piscopo and Danny Devito).

rewatched state of grace recently and it fucking sucked. I saw it with my dad and of course I was hyping it up, it's a classic, Ed Harris is in it too,we turned it off after penn fucked the sexy redhead, his lifts are comical as she is a good 3 inches taller than him.
....total overacting by oldman, Penn was just missing his little top hat, so unbelievable as a Mick. boondocks saints is better and it's shit

The trifecta is Goodfellas/donniebrasco/godfather part 1/2. That's it. that's the tweet. casino is too on the nose, scarfo is a tough guy, we get it.

Recently watched this piece of shit, and it's so bad that it's good. Mike Francesa is a good leading man.

De Niro was great in Mean Streets too, which I haven't since I was maybe 20 but remember enjoying.

Carol's Bad Cavern

Forming Stalagmites since 1930

I think Casino flows better. God Sharon Stone was a tremendous cunt and a piece of ass

Not sure if this counts because it's British, but The Long Good Friday is an amazing mafia/gangster movie.

LingerLonger

Still spreading the O&A virus
The mob is so gay
They all fuck other men in prison. And a bunch of them have died of AIDS (hence the Vito storyline). There was a mobster who was shot and refused blood transfusions from anyone but members of his mafia family because he didn't want the hospital to infect him with AIDS. And of course one of the mafia members had AIDS and infected him.
