I know that some of you here are atheists - so what's with faggots like this? Imagine your atheism defining this much of your personality. Isn't this just as bad as the Bible thumper?

Would you agree that faggots like this make the atheist movement look bad? Please discuss.

There are no atheists, just people with authority/ daddy issues. Everyone knows there is a God.

There are some genuinely excellent discussions between atheists/Christian’s online, where both sides are respectful and open minded. The era of the Richard Dawkins fedora wearing Reddit freak being a condescending cunt like Eric Hildeman is dying off finally.

I hope so anyway.

Atheists are more “stereotypically” religious than most religious people I know. They have a hardened unflinching belief in the absence of God which is unprovable scientifically. Maybe the odds are low according to them but they can’t be “certain”. They get in fights and debates frequently, they want others to think like them, they are often offended alternative viewpoints, they have their deities like retard Dawkins and dead guy Hitchens, they “trust the science” which is dictated to them by deified figures in the field, and on it goes.

But what the heck folks, I just show up to work every morning and push papers around my desk ya know?

Hypothetically, If you were to tie an atheist to a chair and stood behind them jamming a gun barrel into the back of their neck for a while, I bet they'd eventually try to talk to God.

I'm pretty sure they all think they'll be on their deathbed and be like "sorry, God" right before they croak and it's all good.

Personally, I don't care. I don't believe in a god, but I keep it to myself unless asked.

Most Christians I've met are very nice though. Otoh, most atheists I've spoken to, at least the militant Richard Dawkins, are all a bunch of tryhard edgeload cunts.

I'm open to religion, but I wouldn't be able to call myself religious unless I made a sincere effort to pray or go to church. The only motivation for me to try to be a Christian would be just to spite the likes of Eric Hildeman, and tbh that's really gay.

I used to be the same, then when I was at a very low point (but didn’t even realise it) I prayed sincerely and without motive for the first time and I immediately had a reply. A sense of love and connection I can’t put into words.

I want others to feel it. At least be open to it.

The battle is remembering that revelation and not letting evil control you, it’s insidious. Satan’s influence is vast and powerful but ultimately he hasn’t got dominion over anybody.

Tl;dr

Try praying in a manner which isn’t “I might as well try because what’s the harm” and see what happens.

Every atheist I’ve ever known hasn’t read scripture and doesn’t understand science. It’s just a shallow method of appearing intelligent without actually doing anything.
lol, faggot I had to school you on the children of Noah.
Like all bible fags you're dishonest about your experience, and worse yet, you let your personality disorder be your spiritual experience.
Liar, mentally ill faggot.

Atheists can be cringe as fuck, but you have to admit, if everyone around you is wrong and you're right, some might swallow that, and some might be very loud and obnoxious about it, some land in the middle. You can't judge any group by their loudest voices. But yeah, fuck em.

To be fair I've read the bible several times, and after looking at how many statements contradict each other, and knowing who were the authors of the different books.

I realized it was more of a compendium of very narrow ontological perspectives.

Thankfully I developed my atheism before the advent of social media and the need to spew online every aspect of my identity ad nauseam.

The bible is meant to be read with a mentor. The same way we call Hollywood actors “stars” and save data in a “cloud” there’s context that needs to be conveyed. They’ll be smug atheists in 2000 years who think we thought famous people were celestial bodies and the clouds spoke to us.

Even if you aren’t religious, the bible contains thousands of years of wisdom condensed into beautiful verses. It’s worth studying and I’m glad you read it, even if you don’t believe.
