My dad was a firefighter which makes me a firefighting expert but I actually never asked about that. Every male firefighter I know keeps it short but my cousin's dykey wife is a firefighter and she has longer hair.

He's supposed to be this tough badass firefighter but how many firefighters do you know who wear turtlenecks under leather jackets and gradient blue aviators?

He's a rather tall and extremely slender fellow, so he's always layering up to add bulk. It'll be summer and he'll have an undershirt, sweater and leather jacket.

I also liked it when it came out, but doubt i'll be rewatching any time soon.

It was alright for a while, then it flew off the rails. The one where the chief finds out his son is gay and overhears him getting plowed in the ass was as funny as it sounds. There was another one where Leary's crazy ex-wife or whoever she was drugs and rapes him. Just hilariously bad, on a SOA type level.

Ive never actually seen Dennis Leary in anything except one movie. Just commercials for Rescue Me and the Im an Asshole video..

It was Monument Avenue which is actually a really good movie about Boston shitheads thats not really known .. he couldnt have been older than 30 in that movie

Good point, though. I think a lot of them were just friends of Leary and or Tolan. The first few seasons are pretty good, I might have to revisit.

Edit - I stand corrected on Sean. But as a side note Vito was also in that scene before he became Vito (he's referred to as Geno).

He was in the Hurt Locker and Boardwalk Empire as the nutty fed who Eli killed in his living room, among other things.

The guy who was Sean played a fag dance instructor in Six Feet Under, but don't think I've seen him in anything else.
