Well said. It's actually worse in some ways too. Hospitals for instance usually run near 90%, the days of the 50's where hospitals boasted of some excess number of beds as proof they were better are long gone. You used to spend a month in a hospital after a heart attack now it's a day or two. When a mass casualty event occurs they have 5-6 hospitals ready for 70-80 people, so few spare beds there are nowadays.
No you fucking twit, I took it serious too in March of 2020 because I never had a reason to see the nexus that had developed between big pharma, the state (in nearly every nation), and medical policy. It's like the Supreme allied commander being part of the largest military mobilization ever in 1945 and then warning us against how it became jumbled into the military-industrial complex in 1961. I know you suck the state's cock hard from your retarded inability to see how the state finally brought together years of encroaching regulations and expansion to use a respiratory illness as some sort trigger to expand from telling you not to use plastic bags, into you need to stay locked in house arrest only venturing out with a permission slip to keep us all safe from extinction.
I used to think and still largely do think conspiracy nuts are retarded because they hope from one to another, but right here you can find dozens of us that have always railed about the big state but not insane shit like the polio vaccines cause autism, suddenly seeing how the power of the state can be abused. Once again, whatever socialist shithole you come from has polluted your brain. You lived exactly what I did. A vaccine is meant as a prophylactic, a way to trigger your body to create antibodies to prevent infection and thus spread of a virus. They aren't meant to stop severity, those things are called treatments. There is no such thing as asymptomatic spreaders. Viruses all trigger symptoms, those are the signs your immune system is in action, you know runny noses to expel viral particles, fevers to kill the pathogen, coughs to eject from your lungs. The people they called "asymptomatic" were pre-symptomatic and have always existed with all illnesses, but suddenly we acted like they were special spreading nymphs that were unique and we needed to test everybody. That was to slow the exposure to more people to extend the crisis. Many people have mild symptoms with illnesses, but suddenly those formerly not really impacted people became the focus because we needed excuses to keep the "unsick" home. Everybody was a walking death trap therefore we need to close it all down.
What could go wrong in an economy where a 10% supply reduction leads to a 100% price increase, that now also exists on a "just in time" manufacturing system? It isn't the 50's with stockpiles of product in manufacturers plants, regional distribution hubs, local warehouses, store stockrooms, and finally on the shelf. That's mostly gone. It is now largely manufacturer to retail based on demand extrapolation. WTF could go wrong if we just turn that off while handing consumers, not wealthy capitalists tons of liquidity at the same time we're destroying all the slack in supply chains. More money, less goods. Any idea, Keynes? Yea that extra money drove demand, while we diminished supply, it wasn't the same as the last 30 years of cheap money fueling real growth through value addition, it was nigger rich idiots buying minibikes and big screens while there was production shutdowns on them. Well Fuckburger, the bill is due, that liquidity has to be sucked back up to stop runaway inflation.
You know what that means? Rising rates, guess how that works in places like Canada where you don't have loan of the life terms? Yep rising costs, along with diminished equity in a new price regime where everything is 50% more than 2 years ago. The personal wealth that fuels freedom is gone, poof up in smoke, you're poorer, you have less collateral, you now are forced to consume less. No more going out, not because your local public health people say so, but rather because you can't. Fewer small businesses, fewer restaurants, fewer jobs, lower profits for the ones that can survive, but don't worry, the pharma industry has record profits, the medical/government complex is doing fine, 10 bucks tax on 100 bucks is better than 5 bucks on 50 especially when it's on far less produced stuff. That's where we are now. You can feel the reduced circulation amongst people the shuttered store fronts. I also love the Huxleyesque pot shops that have replaced diners and delis, keep em high, they won't get angry.
So know retard I thought Covid was the super flu like 2 months, but then I realized what was happening, it also seems like despite being a nitwit Trump was seeing it too, but he was being fed reports of doom. It was him who I mocked for saying by Easter it would all be gone, turns out he was ahead of most on being suspicious. Oh and don't get all absolutist and act like the cranky conspiracy nuts who guess every event is planned are me and the rest on covid, there all taking victory laps that the 134th time they said this shit they got it right while ignoring the other 133 they were wrong on. This was my only one and I didn't see it until they had already fucked up stuff. How they injected idiots though is beyond me. If by July 2020 you couldn't see something was up you're retarded.
Now you want to display just how uneducated you are and how Patrick like you can be. I can't read your stuff to comment directly, but let me decide what you meant and "no child" you. Great.
I'm 52, I worked right up until the pandemic. I have an actual pension from 30 plus years in an industry and I was doing free lance contracts until Covid. At that point you illiterate state shill, I realized I better rethink my "need" to work and become at least able to be totally self sufficient without a "job". I began doing all or nearly all my own work on our properties, only one of which had "renters" the rest were airbnb so they're consumers of my service not renters in a traditional sense.
None of my properties but my personal residence is in Canada, so I don't drain shit out of Canada and made great money in Canada and paid high taxes for well over a decade and barely used any services as I live in an area that has few. I had a back surgery planned for sometime in 2020, I waited until I was done working for somebody else, but covid canceled that, like 3 months ago almost 2 and half years later they called. I've been waiting to hear back about an MRI, shitty cunts like you and their "muh healthcare" bullshit, think that's better? At this point I just make sure I go to the gym to keep my muscles strong, I probably don't want the Vietcong doctor touching me anyway. Tell me what services I get? Shitty long wait healthcare? Slow mail? Are you seriously suggesting anybody but welfare junkie Injuns get something better than the Americans with insurance get?
As for shopping in the USA a vast majority of my income comes from there, should I spend that in Ontario to give to island niggers, gooks, street shitters and other immigrant non-whites to make fools like you feel noble by being so diverse? I shop in the USA to get the better prices, I also tip very well, you fucking retard unlike the average Canadian that's leaving 10 bucks on 85 dollar checks, I always leave 25-33% on anything below 200 buck checks and at least 20% on big checks I pick up. Thanks for confirming you likely are Canadian, care to tell me how you not the limeys won the war of 1812 or how you won WW II ? Go get vaxxed by some street shitter for the 7th time and where a mask like a fucking retard too while you troll around pretending the shitty lack of highways is normal. Like I said I saw opportunity in my field when we decided to come here, I stay because I'm up in whitelandia and my kids grew up in my town, but everything south of me in Ontario is a shithole fulll of savages.
I literally worked in a field and designed a very important utility for rural Ontario. I used training I got in my industry in the USA to find best cost ways to make expensive capital intensive systems work in low population density places so the world would be reachable. I did better in Canada because I possessed a more unique skill than the locals whereas in the US there were others who did what I did and these jobs usually don't have much churn. I saw growth and used it to my advantage. The same as people in every industry do. My income now comes from users of my rentals and my one fulltime renter house is unoccupied and being reno'd and I guess you think I should just let people stay for free? I guess you rent some shitty 600 sq ft apartment for 2k a month and don't own.
I'm glad you displayed such ignorance surrounding economics though it explains why you suck state cock and got vaxxed. I'm also always warmed by the hate of people that made such low incomes that they get angry when people escape the workforce by smart investing and leveraging the extant conditions to become self sufficient.
TL;DR I get it you're a state simp that's been pumped full of chinky jew sauce by government doctors who doesn't own a house and thinks if we give career politicians all of our income through taxes they'll fix the world despite not having figured out how to deliver mail on time.
