Obviously the Russia/Ukraine situation is going on right now but there's also the tension with China and the US, North Korea etc. Wouldn't be surprised if Putin decides he's sick of the west funding Ukraine at some point in the next few years and just thinks "fuck it, I'm gonna be dead soon anyway. I'm taking these cunts with me".

Just wondering if any of the brothermen have a bunker or some other plan for when the nukes start a-fallin'.

If only the major cities got hit and not the farmland, the survivors could get by. Plenty of heavy industry lies outside the big cites, as well as all our mines, of course.

The biggest shock would be the change in demographics. If everyone in the largest 20 or so cities were to die, the US would be something like 88% and overwhelming Protestant, like the country was before the Civil War. So the worst loss from nuclear war would be our invaluably rich diversity...which would be sad, of course.

Before COVID I was telling my mother how lockdown was coming weeks before it did. My parents genuinely thought I had fallen down some extremist conspiracy nonsense when I said I won't be seeing them at Easter as the government won't be allowing it. I have been smug ever since.

When Russia invaded Ukraine she revealed her big plan for if the nukes fall. Drive 200 miles away from where she lives which is the outskirts of London. Clearly she thinks traffic and road infrastructure will be fine.
