No I'm retarded and I had it backwards. Volvo cars is a subsidiary of The Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, and if I understand correctly is only doing electric cars now. Volvo trucks are still Swedish made. Volvo trucks are now part of Volvo Group Trucks which also apparently runs Renault trucks and Mack trucks.
I thought Volvo was a German company.

Every euro car company announced this except the French. It's a ridiculous promise and I would bet my house they don't stick with that promise. The infrastructure doesn't exist, especially in Europe and electric isn't practical for people that live outside major cities. Electric isn't the fucking solution dammit hydrogen is, except that it's a bit explodey right now. One African billionaire makes electric cars and all these dopes follow fuck I hate electric cars

I only agree with Toyota that hydrogen is the only technologically viable alternative to gasoline as opposed to batteries where the material and technology doesn't exist to fulfill the promises being made. I don't believe anyone should actually bother changing shit. The whole idea is fraudulent.

I think 2030 petrol ( gas for those who get it wrong) are banned EU wide and 2033 hybrids are. Even countries not in the EU will notice that. Same with the EU making it so iPhones have to use usb c chargers I doubt apple will make a EU only model
Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the world and you'd fill up just like a gas car and the only byproduct from hydrogen is water. If we have to leave from gasoline, hydrogen is the answer electric blows.

Not to mention that 90 something % of electricity in most countries is generated using fossil fuels. Electric cars can be fun toys, but anyone who thinks they're helping the environment by getting one is a moron.
