I saw a thread about Pat being a scab when he lied about writing a screenplay during the WGA strike.

I didn't even know what a scab was. My work is on strike except me because I didn't wanna pay the union fee. But I still don't really have to work coz my whole team isn't working.

I get unions are a big deal to people. But I don't trust people who try hard to sell me something. I put them in the pay no mind list when they came across as salesmen on my first week.

It's usually because the company doesn't want a Union that they take care of their workers, they don't do anything out of morality. Now that unions have all but disappeared, and the government is firmly back in the pockets of businesses, they're taking more and more liberties with their workers. Not that unions aren't and can't be corrupt, but the company sure isn't going to look out for you without being threatened in some way.
