I can give a little insight on the waiting time, I think. This NGO webapp is a sort of portal to request public records and the MKE PD ones done via this system are publicly viewable with all info such as response status, the dates, emails back and forth, etc.

So you can see some simple requests fulfilled SAME DAY which is really fucking impressive honestly, was not expecting that from Milwaukee. Props to them.

Some contracts with private companies took about a week to release. A request for screenshots of the social media settings on the MPD twitter/fb/instagram took 2 weeks.

none on that system are bodycam footage, I assume they have to blur Patrick's microgenitalia if they'll release it at all. Or beep out sensitive details if someone requested the 911 call (PLEASE DO)

As a Tulane Alumnus I resent a fellow Tulane Alumnus even if he is fictional being compared to a community college dropout fat Midwestern rube. 1. He's harassed you before; he's doxxed you, and accused you of actions you didn't do ("Don't do that")
2. He tried to get a restraining order put on you without evidence.
3. He tried to get this restraining order without serving/notifying you - not as an ex-parte restraining order, but just as a bitch. As a courtesy, you did travel to Milwaukee to address the court.
4. You've archived his public statements on his most recent altercation with police, and would like to compare them with the police's record, as you suspect he might be lying again.
5. Should he harass you further, you intend to make the contrast between his public statements and the police's record part of your defence - that is, that he's a lying motherfucker that the court should ignore.

I'm not a lawyer, but I think "He's harassed me in the past, I suspect he'll harass me in the future, and I'd like publicly-available records that suggest he's a liar just in case he does it again" is a pretty reasonable explanation.
