He still runs around Vegas having fun, I don't think many people give him shit. My friend saw him at a casino right after he got out and has an awesome picture with him
He golfs every day and lives in his friend’s mansion. For whatever reason they couldn’t sue him for his pension which I didn’t think pro athletes even had.

There's this dutch footballer who had a heart attack and the treatment he got wasn't the best so he's now seriously brain damaged. His family got millions to look after him but frankly I am not sure I'd want to linger like that at all. Going out and getting an occasional tweet "on this day we lost..." Is better
And that man, is @ShutYourCakeHorn

That last sentence is very weird. You're an organization. No one loves you. This was about Hamlin. It would be one thing if that was a quote from his mother, but it doesn't appear to be.
Eh, semantics. I’m sure the whole team got plenty of well wishes from fans. They’re reporting that he’s awake and his first question was “who won the game?” The doctors supposedly responded with, “you won Damar, you won the game of life.” NFL is really doing damage control here.

Dude apparently woke up and was communicating via writing and nodding (still has breathing tube in). Doctor says his brain function looks normal. He's not out of the woods, but very encouraging.
Dude is lucky. Thought for sure he was toast

I’m assuming he’ll never be cleared to play again. Wondering if the NFL will do something for him like give him some bs job for a couple of years until the hoopla dies down.
What's the average professional career length now, two-three years? Putting him back out there is a potential PR disaster, even if he's medically cleared.

He might get a nice payout.
