Solid card but it’s no Bill “Fuck Face” Ripken. I probably have this in my moms attic somewhere..I'll trade you my Vuckovich for your Jeff Frye.

petalstool.
I've heard speculation that exorbitantly high ebay listings for certain items are part of money laundering schemes.Nobody is buying any of these cards. “Oh this Pikachu is worth a million dollars” okay… to who? Who is buying it? Or is it sitting around and you’re waiting for some dipshit streaming guy to buy it?
Pokémon sucks.
God that sucks. That’s my nephew. He has hundreds of these damn cards and I don’t think he’s even aware that there is a game you can play with them. He just scans them with some app to see what they’re “worth”.
Ones with Kanji letters as you described cost upwards of $470,000,000 billion trillion. I personally have two, one at home, one at work. I let my children play with it sometimesI was never into Pokemon as a kid but I remember watching some other kid drop a card on the bus and I picked it up and put it in my pocket.
I remember showing it to my nerdy pokemon friend and he immediately wanted to buy it off me for $20. I said no because I was suspicious at now excited he was about it.
I remember it was a Machamp, Japanese font, and was holographic or shiny whatever they called it. Pristine condition and in a hard plastic sleeve.
It's probably worth something now. I imagine the kid who dropped it was pretty upset about it.
What about the cards?I let my children play with it sometimes
