Surely we are all familiar with incompleteness theorems, particularly Tarski and Godel. I am sure you, @quasi101 (or your more recent and, frankly, better account @quasi102 ) wouldn't expect a man made system (logic) which can not even be used to prove its own validity to apply to an issue which exists entirely above and beyond that system. A baby in the womb can not see it's mother, it might know the umbelical cord or the placenta lining the uterus, but until it's born it can not fathom what mother is or how the world actually works. Think of yourself as the baby, and the limits of logic as your absence of senses and experience.

I pray all the time to be led to a church worthy of the glory to be a church, fit to lead. Do they think Peter and Paul cared about not rocking the boat or offending anybody, and adhering to political zeitgeist’s as long as they came together and had bake sales?

The issue is the churches position. You can make the logic work , but it will always fall under a heretical view. The "different states" concept is sabellism or modalistic.

The classic example is vapor,ice,liquid are all modes of water. or expressions.

I don't need to fully understand it i need the language to make sense. I don't need to know exactly how a combustion engine works , to say i understand cars. But you tell me that when i press the gas and the brake at the same time it both speeds up and slows down at the same time. I'll say i don't know what that things is.
