27% of Evangelical Christians rarely or never attend Church services

For a lot of people in the US, Christianity is now a cultural marker instead of a religion. These people identify as Christian in order to differentiate themselves from the Left, not because they actually have faith. They do not attend Church or any religious activities (bake sales, community volunteering run by the Church etc.). Plenty of other folks do those good natured things I mentioned but a growing number of “Christians” only take that moniker for political reasons. This new group likes the label but would never sacrifice anything or even be inconvenienced as a result of their “religion.”

If this applies to you? Yes I think it probably does.

I’m 100% working towards carrying my cross daily and adhering to the Lord’s good and holy statutes.

I stopped going to my local church because they “whole heartedly disagreed” with me when I objected to their policy of being “inclusive” for all genders (tranny’s) and sexualities. I would welcome anybody if they wanted the church to be their hospital and Christ to heal their ills, but they meant they are welcome as they are and they were born that way and there’s nothing wrong with them etc.

This, plus attitudes like de facto worshipping Jews who spit on them, never being moral absolutists and essentially just trying to avoid controversy and keep the lights on isn’t what the church should be about.

Most churches are laodicean and they don’t realise it, they will be spewed out of His mouth for their lukewarmness.

I pray all the time to be led to a church worthy of the glory to be a church, fit to lead. Do they think Peter and Paul cared about not rocking the boat or offending anybody, and adhering to political zeitgeist’s as long as they came together and had bake sales?

You might try Mr. Turry's Church, I think he's telling you.

It's a component of righteousness given that you have to partake in the sacraments and you can only do that within the context of the church. Dummy.

I’ve actually read lots of different perspectives on the history of the church and the schism and which Eucharists are biblically justified, have you?

Nigga its a cultural marker the world over.

If you're a Filipino...you rise up the ladder in the Philippines by dropping the 3rd world indigenous Catholic Church, to become "Born Again"...they associate it with fresh levi's jeans and a nice crisp white t-shirt or sumpthin. Asia bros know. Meanwhile, the boondock Jungle Filipinos still go to Cathedral and poke their cheeks with burning rods and other miracle-feats.

Same everywhere else...in Ethiopia for eg its even more tiered

Someone completely disconnected from the modern realm = tattooed cross on forehead + Ethiopian Tawahedo Coptic Church
Someone "civilized" in the 1930s by Mussolini's Fascist Askaris = Muh Catholic Cathedral of Asmara
Some Ethiopian Christian in 2024, but wants gibs from whitey = Pentecostal Born-Again Abiy Ahmedsters...

Same in Egypt, Brazil etc. There are tiers to Christianity.

Now in America...the Russian fedsters/bots did work on the 4chan nobacon crowd, and most of them today are "Orthodox". Its fascinating to watch.

Real faith is expressed not in tithing, pious deeds, or attending church. Rather faith is directly tied to purchasing ridiculously expensive computer chairs sold by a company that openly mocks religion and sells polytheism and decadence to impressionable children for exorbitant sums of money.

I think buying a warhammer chair can be forgiven when I make account of my life and fruits, don’t you?

Oh and you're clearly a bishop or a priest so your opinion has weight contrary to two thousands years of church tradition which would say it's worthless.

Nestorians have no basis to critique Christianity. Your heresy was refuted thousands of years ago.

I don't understand how the Trinity is biblically justified, do you? Have you considered becoming a Jehovah's Witness? (Serious question)

Yeah. The trinity is even in Genesis. Genesis 1 includes God’s Word and Spirit within God’s singular agency.

No, I have not and would not.
