we're told that there are the number of stars in the universe equal to the number of grains of sand on the beach
and uh
when you get right down to it... that's... that's a lot.
so... forgive me, if I look out at this... expanse
the beach
which goes off on miles in every direction, trillions and trillions grains of sand
multiply that by anywhere between 2 and 4 and you'll get the average number of planets in the universe
multiply that again by 2 and 4 and you'll get the number of moons those planets have
so each grain of sand probably actually represents... 4 different places? 8 different places? 12 different places? in the universe
you mean to tell me that all these grains of sands on this beach, and every beach in the world, there's 1 single solitary grain of sand that has things on it, thinking about questions like that?
nope. no way.
