I'd normally agree but Vitamin D is a bit different. I've been taking 5000iu per day for years and it was one of the biggest difference makers for me. I remember as my levels built up, I could feel the exterior of my teeth hardening (a good thing) due to the interaction with D and calcium. The same thing is happening with your bones.
