DMCA, complaints, and other inquiries:
My dad took me to numerous gun shows as a kid, even as I think of it I can smell the stench of gun oil.In highschool, my dad took me and my buddy to some huge flea market and I found some old army helmet (can't remember who) with a bullet hole in it that I wanted to buy and my dad and my buddy were both like "That's fucking weird, Abe." so I didn't get it. I still wish I did. I don't collect the shit or anything. I did buy a huge sheepskin vest that day though. It looks like it's made of bear fur or something. I thought it was badass viking shit and my dad was like "Where'd you find the Sonny Bono vest? You look like some fuckin hippie on a freakout."
WWAWD gun nut fathers. My dad angrily fired off his SKS in the backyard when Clinton got re-electedMy dad took me to numerous gun shows as a kid, even as I think of it I can smell the stench of gun oil.

That's pretty cool, well except for the forest fire i guess. My best man is from the island of Kefalonia and there was a forest fire near his town so he and his brothers went thru there after and found an old WW2 Nazi helmet in the ashes. All the leather and stuff was burnt off but the steel remained obviously.
Any markings were burned off too
Pretty much what I'm afterThere's only one subset of items worth owning
My grandfather joined the Air Force right after WW2 ended and spent the next 25 years dropping hell on various kinds of Asians from various kinds of jets. He had some cool stories, but he didn't bring back a lot of souvenirs. My grandfather had an Afrika Korps knife that he "liberated" from a Kraut he killed or captured. Wish I had it, but my old man donated it to some museum after his dad kicked the bucket.
