I did expect Donald, but I haven't actually watched Donald give a speech in a long time, this motherfucker has lost all of his energy. It's obvious he fully expected to run against a puddinghead in November and decided to just run on autopilot. This is someone's grandad just meandering during a Sunday dinner, not a rallying of the troops I expected it to be.

Maybe I am a little retarded, but I thought that this speech (given what happened last weekend) presented a great opportunity to win over a lot of people. I get that his diehard fans eat this shit up so he can't alienate them. I expected this to be more reflective and measured to be perfectly honest witcha, but this is terrrrrrrrrrible. I didn't expect it to be this bad.

They said in advance it’d be a little more subdued. I figured the assassination stuff would be, then he’d ramp up. But yeah this isn’t the most memorable speech of his.

I think @1950'sSpaceProgram made a good point about him not going that hard because Biden’s a bumbling retard. I guess the goal was just “don’t look as bad as Biden” and in that at least, he succeeded.

Now I don't know what's worse. A rambling retard Trump or a stutterin mutterin prick Biden. Trump could have sealed the deal and removed all doubt by sticking to the script; the Democrats would be fucked after Biden stepped aside and they wouldn't have had anyone who could beat Trump. But after this monstrosity of a speech, Democrats aren't out of it yet.

But what do I know, I'm just a regular Joe and not on CNN.
