The landlords were always the best parts of the show, the Ropers were just a little too subtle at times where Furley was constantly bugging his eyes and flailing. Larry was my favorite as a kid, he seemed like a guy who had a lot of fun but I didn't really understand what he was after until much later. Jack was always miserable, Larry wanted to go out and party. When I was really little I got Larry and Joe Isuzu's character on Empty Nest mixed up, they were basically the same guy to lil Lamont & tiny Tonelli.
