I am actually currently rewatching it. Garry Shandling was so fucking great. Rip Torn, Jeffrey Tambor and Scott Thompson usually got my ribs.
This is probably a stupid comparison, but the Ron & Fez show was essentially the radio version of Larry Sanders. Both are shows about the behind the scenes of a show.

Easily one of the top few sitcoms ever, although it takes a few episodes to get into it's subtle, blink and you'll miss it humour.
It stays consistently funny to the end of its run and the characters don't become caricatures of themselves.
Other than Sanders being neurotic, it's refreshingly un-Jewy in a way that Seinfeld definitely wasn't. Rip Torn and the dude that plays Hank are fucking insanely good.
