Same shit with Michael Cohen. You can like them for taking out Trump but they’re not heros or good people. Like lets put this into perspective. Cohen worked for Trump since like 2011. His entire job was to threaten to sue people or to make sure negative stories didn’t run on Trump. He fielded Trumps run for President. He paid off Daniels and Mcdougal which, according to the Dems, was to manipulate the election. People will say “He went to jail for lying for Trump”, which is true, but he also went to jail for lying on his taxes and bank statements, charges which he claims were Trumped up political revenge. He’s not a good guy.
The other day in the trial Cohen was testifying on October 28th he called Trumps bodyguard, Keith, to connect to Trump to make sure the payment to Daniels was gonna go through. Well the defense upon cross examination pulled up Cohens texts from the same night. A 14 year old kept prank calling him and, like a dummy, forgot to block his number. Cohen texted the kid “Number reported to Secret Service” and even when the kid starts begging Cohen says “Get me your parent or guardian if you don’t want this going to the SS”. Right after those texts, he texts Keith about this, and this segues directly into the phone call. The two minute phone call where, according to him, he got the go ahead to pay Daniels.
