WWAWD Grown Men Crying Over A Mincing Ozzie in Tight Fitting Yellow Spandex?

If any grown man cries over a Hollywood actor, who plays a fictional children's book character, dressing up in a FUCKING "book accurate" costume, please find a way to end yourself immediately that doesn't inconvenience anyone. Especially me.

I say this as someone who's willing to take the beating by admitting I like some of Hugh Jackman's movies, even if more pillows on this Earth have his teeth impressions than I have songwriting credits. Hell, nothing's even out to watch during our next short break on the tour - I might actually drag the band along to watch this piece of shit.

But if I see one man crying in that theater because of this Aussie closet case doing a haggard Eastwood impression in bright yellow spandex, I'm going to go full Mel.

I'm really glad I've never seen a single one of these dogshit movies. The last "comic book movie" I saw, if you can even call it that, was the Batman movie with fat Alicia Silverstone.

If you enjoyed Adam West's Batman, you can enjoy that movie for what it is: a gay piece of shit.

It's the Batman version of Zorro: The Gay Blade.

I was always curious why her mouth didn't work. I'd still occasionally love her even with a disabled jaw.

Always was a pretty lass, despite sounding like she had bollocks in her mouth.

these are really weird people because comic book niggas (at least the non faggot lifers) are too jaded to actually go to the movies.

it's a very weird soy type of soy bro

Funny you mention that, as I've read some of the medium, but usually the more mature oriented stuff, like Garth Ennis. Preacher was incredible, and I actually liked his Punisher. Read like a modern, twisted Mickey Spillane story.

I had read long ago that Sylvester Stallone had publicly said he LOVES The Punisher, and he wishes he could've played him. I've seen all those movies because of Ennis - and they're all shit, Netflix show included, though Lundgren's is a good two-fer with "Commando" - but it made me think for a moment: Stallone can write, and in his heyday, he could get anything made because of his name. Fucking made "Rhinestone", for Christ sake. An 80's Punisher with no Disney, Stallone's control, and actual money, might have been pretty cool.

Then I remember he made "Cobra" and I fuck off about it.

Neither was Thomas Jane. Perfect voice, the extended cut is... Watchable, at best. But like Lundgren, who made that movie at New World - Corman's company he sold off, and then after they bought Marvel (can't make that shit up) - Jane's movie was made at Artisan, who probably couldn't even afford a cup to piss in. The only movie that ever had a budget was Warzone, which is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I can't get into the Netflix show. Maybe it's the actor, I don't know, but the story is shit too. I love the concept of a character like that - it's the type of character that reminds me of so many spaghetti westerns and old pulp novels I grew up on, that it transcends being comic shit.

Oddly enough, closest to a good and realistic Punisher movie? "You Were Never Really Here" with Joaquin Phoenix. Rough watch, though.
