I get anxious as fuck if I have to actually rely on signs when I'm driving because I can't see what they say until I'm right up on them. I'm supposed to wear glasses but I don't. I just squint all the time and people think I'm mean-mugging. Prescription glasses always feel weird on my face. Like they start making me feel like they're vibrating on my face or something. I don't get that with sunglasses.

Go to Turkey and have them lasered. And a hair transplant too while you sleep with Ukrainian prostitutes
Theres this guy who lives near me and he's known as a local "hard man", he's about 45 and was balding and ginger. I hadn't seen him for ages when i bumped into him down the street one day and he had a full head of brown hair, an orange tan and bright white teeth. Apprently he denies getting anything done and said he went to Thailand on a business trip.

Buy from Zenni. Very cheap, good quality frames and lenses. Mine haven't bent or had any screws loosen up in two years or more. Been wearing glasses my whole life and always had some stupid issue with them especially when I was younger and I'd fall asleep with them on.
Is that an American place? i'll be using Specsavers here lol

as annoying as they might seem you’ll probably get used to it pretty quick. i tried contacts for awhile & they’re a massive pain in the ass especially when their only real purpose is vanity. they can feel dry all the time, need to be replaced every 2 weeks (expensive) + solution, and having to remember to take them out before bed is irritating. never liked touching the surface of my eyes either. they can also fold or move out of place while inserted. was never worth the hassle imo. i buy new old stock frames off ebay (built to last) & have the lenses replaced every year or so once they become too scratched

I'm in the same boat as you. 47 and over the last year or two I've started to have to hold things as far from my face as possible to read sometimes. On really small things I've actually used the zoom on my phone's camera a few times. Not really a big issue but I do need to get them checked soon.

He is probably one of those Hildy types but the Thais do a nice job as well.

I very briefly tried contacts when I was younger (like a week or two) and I hated fucking with my eyes all the time. The one did somehow fold over on my eye in the middle of the day and I had to sit there and poke myself in the eye in front of people with no mirror and I was like "I'm fine with having shitty vision."

way too tedious & not worth the effort at all. i remember shit like that happening & opting to just throw both away on the spot rather than wait until i got home.

I'll never forget the day I got my first pair of glasses. I walked out of the optometrists office and I could see leaves on the trees. I knew that trees had leaves but until then they'd just been a big blob on top of the cawksucka.
