I was never able to get into 90's edgemaster Gayry Nu-male so I never bothered with anything past that.
I'm the same way, brotherman. Used to love Gary Numan back in the day, maybe up until around Telekon, which is great. iirc, I, Assassin started to get boring/going downhill. Then the stupid mega goth shit with his ridiculous dyed wig. Still love him for the Tubeway Army stuff til maybe around 1983-84.

Replicas... that's about it for me. No hate. Just everything I think I needed from him was all there. Love that record.
Try Telekon and The Pleasure Principle also and you'll be set for life.

the pleasure principle is a quality record. he actually performed in my city a few months back and I heavily considered going, but I was fairly certain he was going to mostly play tunes from his newest record, so I ultimately decided against it
We saw him in 2016 when he performed the full albums Replicas and The Pleasure Principle over two nights and it fucking ruled. Zero new songs.

faaawk. in fairness to myself, he did have a new lp come out this year and I'm pretty sure he was touring for it

The Pleasure Principle ruled back when I was in high school. Did some work in a city that got hit by a storm that knocked most of the electricity out so the cell towers were down. The little local station played "Are Friends Electric" by his earlier band Tubeway Army and it was pretty neat. Nice when you actually hear cool stuff on regular radio instead of the corny ass Clear Channel rotation.
