Unless you're eating the shells too, I wouldn't worry.

Side note - I used to know this Russian guy in college who always had various cash-making schemes going on on the side. One of them was buying the cheapest eggs he could find in the supermarket, smearing some mud and sticking feathers on a few and selling them door-to-door to gullible posh people in Battersea and Wandsworth as organic free-range farm eggs. He claimed to make a couple of hundred pounds a week at it
