WWAWD Counting Cards

From what I've heard the only way to really make it work is if you've got a large group of people making subtle gains. The threshold to trigger security is pretty tight so you can maybe scam a bit of money out of them but it's probably not worth the hassle.

I agree with this sentiment; plus they are very aware of counting cards. If you're caught they aren't going to smash your hand in anymore, but they'll likely try to ban you from as many places as possible.

Plus going gambling with the strict intent to make profit is a bad idea. Like day trading, if you don't have enough cash to absorb a heavy loss on any given day, you might just put yourself in a worse situation.

If they haven't all transitioned over to those automatic reshuffling machines then they probably want a lot of people who think they can count cards. More money for them.

I know a guy who would walk out with $10K+ fairly often. I’m not into the gambling scene but he definitely had a system going because he’d rarely go to the same casino twice in the same month. Whatever it was, he was very guarded about it because all he would say is he played the basic strategy.

Then all of a sudden he stopped gambling and hasn’t done it since. I have no idea what happened but for a guy who won a lot, he seems to have no interest now. Maybe he got blacklisted if that’s a thing.

I don’t know where I was going with that but the house always wins in the end so don’t ever think you’re outsmarting them for a second.

Been practicing a bit online because im bored out of my mind. Is it even possible to make a small profit going in? I would be playing single deck at this Indian casino. Worst case I get kicked out, I suppose.
I used to work in casino surveillance at one point in my life. I strongly recommend putting your time and effort into something else if you’re actually looking for an additional revenue stream. If you’re looking for a challenge/hobby, then I would say go for it, if the table is indeed offering a single deck game.
Like you stated: the worst case scenario would most likely result in being banned from casino. Most likely scenario: being backed-off the Blackjack tables specifically and being encouraged to stay in the establishment.
