If I didn't have a small kid, I'd definitely have some booby traps around outside. Security cameras don't do much, but twisting your ankle falling into a hole does. Before I realized 100% that it was an inside job when we got robbed majorly, I started looking for spots around the perimeter to put shit.

It's legal to shoot them, but not legal to have them fall into a cactus?
Guh-gle it! But yeah, kind of. I think they have to actually be in your house and you have a legal duty to try retreating first. That one varies by state though. You definitely can’t make your yard look like an old school Wile E. Coyote cartoon anywhere in America. Source: I was a lawyer before I gave it up to be a hip hop mogul.

In my state as far as I can tell you can shoot someone on your property and that's pretty much it. I don't see someone being able to sue because they tried to climb a wall and fell into a pile of cactus shit.

it's different in a lot of states but I'm a gun owner in the liberal homo state of NJ. Even here we have a castle doctrine and no duty to retreat....so if you are in reasonable fear of an intruder, blast away.
