In almost every way...you can't even leave drafts on reddit when making a thread or posting a reply. Xenforo's 2006 feel is way better than anything from reddit or any other messageboard tbh.

I do like it. I used to post on all different forums in the early mid 2000s and this feels right to me.

I did like how the Reddit threads would splinter in to smaller threads since you could reply to a specific comment and the hilarity was consolidated. If I remember correctly the first iteration or two of the forum had a similar feature

It did and I hated it because it was very easy to miss stuff. A thread could be 10 pages long but people could be making comments on the 2nd page still. That was dumb.

Took me a while to readjust since it had been years since I used forums like this and I liked having the Reddit app on my phone but I checked something on Reddit the other day and realized it fucking sucks. This is much easier to keep track of stuff.

Yeah I get that, but I guess I’m just autistic enough to appreciate it. The reply option with the forum format was a shit show, and @CuntFucker had a big problem with what he called “Rib simping.”

Forums are the best way to communicate on the internet. Things like reddit and twitter or discord everything gets lost. Things with infinite scrolling or mobile interfaces should be met with gas chambers and flamethrowers.

I browse forums with my scroll wheel, and skim. It's basically impossible on reddit because there's just so many faggoty comment chains. The only improvement I would want here would be a hotkey to disable pictures, and then reenable.

To be honest witcha, I think the reddit-esque format that cumtown has is really good.

But for a community of this size, this forum is pretty perfect for us and I have no complaints

The big one for me is Gab.
