A buddy and I signed up to do that for our 6th grade lip sync thing and they told us no because "it promotes gang violence." These were the people in charge of educating us.

Also in 6th grade, during the schools locker search for drugs, the principal took the CD out of my locker and gave it to my dad(PE teacher): "I'm not sure if you're aware of the kind of shit your kid is listening to."

I was worried I lost it since it was on loan from a friend but my dad gave it back to me at the end of the day after telling me Mr. Person took it out of my locker.
