Have you ever experienced something that made you think what are the fucking odds of that happening? I’ve got two that I think are worth sharing.
I got a job doing geology shit out on an oil rig and I go to my first location to do some training. There are two guys on location that do this job. A a day and night guy. I’m training with the day guy and the night guy is pretty cool and we’re the same age so we get to talking about shit. Well back in high school we played against each other in the simi-finals in football.

The other instance was when my family and I were in NYC over spring break. We were walking somewhere and we had to take a detour because of the St Patties day parade. We’re walking in front of a hotel and one of my sister’s roommates from college walks out with her family and we stop and talk for a minute then go our separate ways.

I know these aren’t profound experiences but I find shit like this kinda interesting. I’m sure some of us brothermen have unknowingly crossed paths. Scthinkly about….

Yea , my detachment in Iraq had like 160 people. I was sitting in the chow hall and this one dude joined me and two other people at a table. He was a cool guy but never at all talked to him at that point. With the two others, I made a joke about this dude I went to high school with because his name was odd.

The guy I never really met before said he knew him, I thought he was joking around but turns out we went to the same HS .

I went to a birthday party at an amazingly tacky Russian nightclub in Beijing and was sat next to someone who went to the same school as me in England. That's not too crazy because even though Beijing has a population of 16 million, if you're a westerner you end up bumping into the same 200 people again and again.

I hooked up with this Australian girl on the east coast of Oz and then just bumped into her back home in England a couple of years later. That one was a bit odd, because it wasn't like London or something. I have literally no idea why she would end up coming to the moderately large English city that I lived in. To work as a bar tender, I would assume.

Five months before college I got a beej from some girl in Hawaii. The first week of college I meet a dude who becomes my fast best bud. Turns out he went to prom with the girl who sucked my cawk in Hawaii five months before. He went to high school like 40 miles away.

I was just at an all inclusive resort in Cancun, and some guy I went to high school with just happened to be there.

When I was like 21 I stopped my friend from beating the shit out of a kid that looked like he was just out of high school at a 4th of July party. Turned out the kid was a step brother that I never knew I had because my father pulled a Patrick Tomlinson when my mom was pregnant with me. Thru him I met my father, step mom and half sister. They were cool but he was an annoying fag and I eventually realized I should have let my friend kick his ass.
