All over the UK last night we got the Northern lights. Amazing photos all over social media.

Turns out to the naked eye they are completely different to how they come across on camera

Still at least all those 70 year old English guests on Joe's boat won't be excited to go see them in Norway now.

You can make it look better with a camera, but I've seen the northern lights when it wasn't cloudy and it looks just as good as photos I've seen.

Never been able to see any of it before. Apparently it was extra strong this time and so we went out to Red Rocks in Vegas to try and catch some purple stuff after my wife showing me pictures people were getting elsewhere that looked like they were inside of supernovas. "Those lucky bastards." The sky had some purple/pink hues which was cool but then like you're saying, wife started taking pictures with night vision and the photos looked way cooler than the naked eye shit you could see and I made this same point to her and my daughter.

I've seen purple and pink northern lights in the late 90s. Last night was cloudy as fuck so I couldnt see shit. Tonight i'll get a better chance. These camera faggots can fuck off.

I've seen them clear as fuck multiple times including last night. They're magnificent. The injuns say you're not supposed to look at them because it's spirits going to injun heaven or some shit. Injun heaven is like regular heaven but there's garbage and trailers everywhere.
