He's a great director but an awful screenwriter. Wish he would use his amazing talent on the scripts of other people. I kind of despise him for being such a self-important, pretentious fuck with no substance.

Pretty much summed up most of his filmography. Climax had some great moments in it, but you had to sit through almost an hour of setup with super unlikable characters and then all of this shitty dancing I don't care about

People love to hate him I think his first 3 movies are great but I haven't seen anything after Enter the Void which has the best opening credits to anything. Seeing this in theaters was something else.
