I see what you're saying but those bulls are pretty game. It's not like they're cornering the thing and torturing it - the bull wants to fight. Also if you fuck up the bull gores your stupid ass.

Watching bullfighting is less embarassing than most forms of consumer entertainment.
They do stuff like shave down the horns and drug the bulls to make it easier. So even if you make a mistake you still have some outs. They also smear their eyes with petroleum jelly to blind them. Hence why the bulls can't tell the difference between a living person and some waving piece of cloth. It's kind of faggy sport when you really look at it. They are 'fighting' drugged out and blind bulls with long swords and tons of backup fighters should they take a hit.
They maim and torture the bulls (puncturing lungs, etc.) before they finally kill them. It's evil.
My dads from Spain and i spent a good portion of my youth there, you have to go out of your way to find a bullfight these days. It's still legal in a lot of places but it's pretty much only old people who go to watch it.
